The days are getting longer and the sun is starting to shine. What a great time to get moving once again and focus on creating a more positive body image, which helps improve one’s self-esteem. Body image is not what you see in the mirror, but how you see yourself in your mind. A recent study found that people who are constantly preoccupied with their weight or have other forms of body dysmorphia will display higher levels of depression and anxiety symptoms.
