DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND, CAMP PANTHER IS ON A WAIT-LIST STATUS

ANY SIGN-UPS  AFTER 3-28-2022 ARE NOW WAIT LISTED.  PRIOR TO THIS WAIT LIST DATE, ANY CHILDREN THAT ARE SIGNED UP THAT ATTEND LITCHFIELD  PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL BE ENROLLED IN THE PROGRAM

PRE - K AGE STUDENTS THAT ARE SIGNED UP TO ATTEND CAMP PANTHER MUST BE ENROLLED IN LITCHFIELD PRE K AND MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND KINDERGARTEN NEXT FALL

The camp will take place over 3 weeks during the month of June at J.D. Colt elementary with a Pre K version of the camp at Litchfield Pre K. 

The camp will focus on reading skills and enrichment activities.  The Pre K version of the camp will focus on Kindergarten readiness skills and enrichment as well.

Kids in the Kindergarten through 4th grades will also attend later into the afternoon with enrichment activities provided by the YMCA and U of I Extension.  Fridays will also see the campers going on field trips around the community. 

In addition to the activities, the camp will continue to offer the incentives from before including:

  • Panther Bucks rewards to spend in the camp store
  • Drawings for bikes, tablets, and gift cards
  • Pre K campers will also be in the drawings for gift cards and bikes 

All camp attendees will receive a camp shirt.  Have your size ready when you register your campers.

Bussing will be provided (if requested) for campers to 1 set location (day care, home, grandparent house, etc.) throughout the 3 weeks of camp.  Families can also provide their own transportation if they wish.

Schedule is as follows:

  • June 6th through June 24th
  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 – 1:30 (K-4) @ JD Colt School 8:00-12:00 (Pre K) @ Sihler School
  • Breakfast and Lunch Provided
